How to Download AION 2 on Steam or PURPLE: PC Requirements and Account Linking

Choose Steam or PURPLE

Both launch the same Global PC service. Steam is the simpler choice if you want Steam Wallet purchases and Steam's library tools. PURPLE is NC's own launcher. The important choice is not the launcher itself but the NC account attached to it.

1. Install AION 2 from its official Steam page or from PURPLE.
2. Use an NC account you control and intend to keep.
3. If Steam asks to link an account, verify the NC login before accepting.
4. Complete the download only after confirming at least 100 GB is free.

Official PC requirements

NC's notes target FHD with Very Low at minimum and Low at recommended. Meeting a specification is not a guarantee against driver, network, launcher or NCGuard problems.

Link the correct account

A character belongs to the NC account used when it was created. Linking a different Steam account later does not transfer that character. In the NC account site, use My Page → Manage Login to review connected login methods. Keep a second working login method before attempting to unlink Steam.

If your character is missing

1. Stop creating new characters until you identify the original NC account.
2. Sign in to the NC website with Steam to see which NC account that Steam login reaches.
3. Check Manage Login and add another login method if required.
4. Reconnect the intended Steam account to the NC account that holds the character.

Unlinking and relinking is account access work, not data migration. Contact Support if the original account cannot be recovered.
