Star Wars: Galactic Racer controls and peripheral support

Find confirmed keyboard, controller, wheel, HOTAS and VR support without an unverified button map.

Applies to: Developer-confirmed input support

The short answer

Keyboard and mouse are supported, and controllers have rumble. The developer says wheels, HOTAS/HOSAS, full haptics and resistance are not currently supported; it has no present plans for VR.

Confirmed input options

The developer FAQ explicitly confirms keyboard and mouse play. It also says controller rumble is supported across platforms. A controller label on the Steam store page is consistent with that statement, but it does not supply a universal button-by-button map.

Wheel, flight controls and VR

Peripheral or featureDeveloper’s current statement
Racing wheelNot currently supported.
HOTAS / HOSASNot currently supported.
Full haptics and resistanceNot currently supported.
VRNo current implementation plans.

“Not currently supported” is a statement about the documented game support, not a prediction about future patches or every possible third-party input mapper.

Where can I find the actual buttons?

Use the Controls or Settings screen in your installed version for the active platform and input device. A specific key can change with remapping and platform prompts. The public sources reviewed here do not provide a complete verified default-key table, so this page does not invent one.
